Welcome to my homepage!

I'm a second year PhD student in the Department of Statistics at the University of Michigan, gratefully advised by Gongjun Xu and Colin Fogarty.

I received my B.S from Sun Yat-sen University in mathematics and applied math. I spent my wonderful sophomore and junior years at UC Berkeley studying statistics. And I was very lucky to be advised by Will Fithian doing weighted multiple hypothesis testing under dependency.

Research Interests

I am generally interested in both of methodology and theory. Though I am still developing my taste, I currently find these fields interesting.

  • Methodology:

    • Multiple Hypothesis Testing

    • Causal Inference

    • Psychometrics Modeling

    • Latent Variable Models

  • Theory:

    • Identifiability and Extremal Problems

    • High Dimensional Statistics

Sometimes, I read combinatorics, especially extremal set theory and combinatorial optimization.
